Damn, we are being manipulated every single minute of our little lives.
Our task is to consume and even participate in whatever form you imagine yourself participating in.
Is it us or is it the money and fame that is being tied to this type of things?
besides infotainment is natural thing in human lives, people would of signed a contract with the devil back in the days
to not be bored anymore and have there Netflix subscription to view all the future or Medieval only shows out there to watch.
I hate being human, I would rather return to Monkey or become a machine or just die sooner then later during this small existence of mine.

Survivor
This originally started out well, it was originally a Swedish show focused on survival.
Then as it went on it get more and more focused on the social game, people making alliances to vote each other off.
Usually the show will end where 3 people are left and then the jury will decide the winner, this means that instead of the game actually being about outplaying other people it's more of a popularity contest where you are supposed to be popular among everyone but still last to the final 3.
So the show is really about being popular enough to win the fina tribal council but not so popular you get voted off early.
To prevent popular people from being voted off they started introducing hidden immunity idols since it's near impossible to win challange after challange since it only take one bad performance to lose and the challenges are varied, only one winner.
They made the show even worse by having a fire challange instead of voting at the final tribal council (when there are 4 people left) previously all 4 would vote and it would only go to fire in the case of a tie.
The Australian verison of the show seem to be better.
The fundamental issue
The issue is that they insist on there being a single winner with no prize for the individual finishing second. The jury system is really stupid, increasingly recently people are expected to "make moves" for the sake of making moves even though it would have made more sense to just stick with the alliance.
The jury system should be scrapped and replaced by a final tribal council where they can all vote on each other and then it can end in 2 ways
2 votes: you win nothing
1 vote: you win 400000$
0 votes: you win 600000$
If everyone get one vote then they will each get 333333$
